Mario Video [very long download]
This is my first music video, and I plan to make another one soon. I’m trying to find a song in Japanese, so I can make an “Animutation”. I read about them on the internet, and I can’t wait to get started on my own.
This is actually a parody of a game made by one of my classmates, Nick Huebner. I don’t know how to use actionscript like him, but the resemblance is still uncanny. The cheat used in is animation is actually usable in the 1-player mode of his game; the player just has to hold the space bar. There’s also a cheat to shrink your paddle, but I forgot which button it was.
This is one of two flash animations I have made so far that have coherent plots. It’s a little like “The Matrix”, because the main character goes into a “mind world” where he can will things into existence. However, he is eventually forced harshly out of this world and discovers the horrifying, awful truth.
I made up the title before deciding what the animation would be about. That music is from a video game, and it’s always getting stuck in my head.
